Welingkar – Rising Globally With Alliances

Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research, Mumbai, has formed an alliance with Curtin Business School in order to facilitate mutual cooperation in the field of educational research. WeSchool is one of the top 10 management institutions in India and CBS is a part of Curtin University of Technology, Perth, Western Australia. This partnership is a step towards cooperation between Australia & India in the field of education and research.

Curtin Business School (CBS), the largest teaching division of Curtin University, is one of the most comprehensive business schools in Australia. The Economist ranked CBS #2 globally under Student Quality.

The MoU (memorandum of understanding) was signed by Prof. Dr. Uday Salunkhe, Group Director, Welingkar Institute with Prof. David Wood, Deputy Vice Chancellor of Curtin University. The event was graced by the presence of various authorities from the office of Australia’s Counsul General and from CBS, the faculty, students of Welingkar Institute and other leading personalities from the academia & industry.

Prof.Dr.Uday Salunkhe said, “This MOU with Curtin University will facilitate exchange of students and faculty members on reciprocal basis and help conduct and organize cultural projects, study tours and opportunities to conduct joint research projects in emerging fields. It will also offer new avenues for our students to study in an international environment  I am confident that our association will accomplish a  balanced and broad based cooperation not only between the two institutes but also between two countries in various areas of mutual interest.”
